Tower asphalt mixing plant layout
The layout of a tower asphalt mixing plant is divided into two main sections: tower unit and other components.
Tower unit is the core component of any asphalt mixing plant. It houses important components like elevators, vibrating screen, hot bins, mixing unit. If customer opts for a storage silo it will also be a part of the tower unit.
Other important components apart from the tower unit will include cold aggregate feeder bins, primary vibrating screen, drying drum with burner. More components that are important are fuel tank, bitumen tanks with heating system, filler silo, bag filter and control panel.
