Atlas Technologies supplied a stationary asphalt batch mix plant to Myanmar, built on a modular, skid-mounted structure that ships in standard and open-top containers and goes up fast on site.
What it takes to get a full batch plant to Myanmar and running:
A complete batch plant has to travel overseas without depending on flat-rack containers, which cost more and are harder to book.
Loose components mean longer erection on site and a later start to production.
Consistent hot mix needs steady drying temperature, accurate aggregate weighing and effective dust handling.
Atlas Technologies supplied a stationary asphalt batch mix plant to Myanmar. The range covers 80 and 120 TPH models, with 160 TPH the largest built, all on a modular structure for fast erection and commissioning.

A stationary asphalt batch mix plant with a fully automatic modulating burner (diesel or LDO), a chain-driven drying and mixing unit insulated with glass wool, a customised spring-mounted vibrating screen, four hot bins, an aggregate weighing system with a filler weigh hopper, a twin-shaft mixer, a pre-separator, a reverse air flow bag filter and a touch-screen control panel.
The containerised design ships in standard and open-top containers, with no flat racks needed. Every unit except the bitumen tank and fuel tank comes on skid plates, reducing installation time on site.
The modulating burner holds the set temperature inside the dryer drum, and the drum flights heat aggregates evenly. Aggregates are weighed before they enter the mixer, and each mixer shaft has its own planetary speed reducer and motor for better torque distribution. The pre-separator traps larger dust particles before the bag filter and can feed them back to the hot aggregate elevator. The reverse air flow bag filter uses three cleaning rotors for efficient cleaning.
“The whole plant came in standard containers, and with most units already on skid plates, erection on site went much faster than we expected.”
