“90-120 TPH Asphalt Drum Mix Plant: First Atlas Technologies Unit Delivered to Lebanon”

Our first asphalt plant in Lebanon: a 90-120 TPH stationary drum mix plant for a road contractor, with the layout reworked for a tight site walled on two sides.

LocationLebanon, Middle East
Project TypeInternational Export | Road Construction
EquipmentAtlas 90-120 TPH Stationary Asphalt Drum Mix Plant with 2 x 30 T Hot Mix Storage Silos and PLC-SCADA Control

The Challenge

A Tight Site With Walls on Two Sides

The contractor’s land had tall walls on two sides and limited space, so the plant layout had to be adjusted to fit.

Five-Bin Aggregate Feeding

The plant needed five cold feeder bins, with feeding and loading set up the way the contractor wanted.

Dust Collection in Two Stages

The contractor needed both dry and wet dust collection on the plant.

The Engineering Solution

Atlas Technologies supplied a 90-120 TPH stationary asphalt drum mix plant and changed the layout and feeder setup at the customer’s request.

Plant & Equipment Supplied

A 90-120 TPH stationary asphalt drum mix plant with:

  • Five-bin cold aggregate feeder, single-deck vibrating screen and charging conveyor with load cell
  • Drying and mixing drum with burner
  • Dry dust collector and venturi-type wet dust collector
  • 2 x 30-ton hot mix storage silos
  • Bitumen tank, mineral filler and load-out conveyor
  • Control cabin with PLC control panel and SCADA interface

Layout Changes After the Factory Visit

Once the plant was ready, the customer visited Atlas and toured all three of its manufacturing units. During the visit they asked for layout changes to suit their site, and Atlas reworked the arrangement and prepared the foundation drawing for the walled site.

Feeder Changes at the Customer’s Request

At the customer’s request, vibrating motors were added to all five cold feeder bins, and the feeder units were raised to make aggregate loading easier.

The Victory

Project Outcomes
