We supplied a combined asphalt drum mix and wet mix macadam plant for a construction consultant in Libya, built around one shared feeder that serves both asphalt and wet mix production.
The client needed both asphalt and wet mix macadam for road construction in Libya, and wanted to avoid buying, shipping and running two separate plants.
The project needed asphalt drum mix and WMM plant output. Before ordering, the client visited India to see an installed combined plant, and confirmed that one plant could serve both purposes.
Five different types of aggregate were needed on site, so the feeder had to handle all five.
The client wanted a way to recycle dust from the dry dust collector instead of losing it.
Atlas Technologies supplied a combined drum mix and WMM plant built around one common five-bin aggregate feeder. The plant alternates between asphalt and wet mix production, avoiding an extra aggregate feeder unit and its transportation costs.

A 90-120 TPH asphalt drum mix plant combined with a wet mix plant, sharing a common five-bin aggregate feeder for all five aggregate types. The package included a drying and mixing drum, pug mill, load-out conveyors, a 25-ton wet mix storage silo, an LDO tank, mineral filler, a pollution control unit, and a control cabin with panel. A screw conveyor carries dust from the dry dust collector to the mineral filler.
Atlas supported the customer through installation and commissioning in Libya. One mechanical technician assisted with mechanical work, and one electrical technician assisted with electrical work and plant calibration.
On-site operator training covered running the plant and troubleshooting.
“We visited India to see a combined plant running before we ordered. One feeder for both asphalt and wet mix saved us a second feeder and its transport, and the Atlas technicians supported us through installation.”
