Containerised, export-ready asphalt solution commissioned for an international road construction contractor in the Sultanate of Oman.
The contractor needed a plant that could be shipped from India to Oman with every unit fitting into a standard 40 HQ container.
The project required a mobile plant with 56 tonnes of aggregate storage, a 30-tonne bitumen tank and a 4,000-litre LDO tank, all built into the unit.
The plant had to be easy to assemble and quick to start once it reached the Oman site, so production could begin without delays.
Atlas Technologies engineered a modular mobile asphalt drum mix plant for the Oman project, designed for 40 HQ container shipping, straightforward site assembly and continuous production.

Atlas Mobile Asphalt Drum Mix Plant, 60-90 TPH, with 56-tonne aggregate storage, a 30-tonne bitumen tank, a 4,000-litre LDO tank, a double venturi pollution control unit, a PLC panel and helical in-line gears on the conveyors, arranged across five mobile units.
The plant was split into five axle-mounted units, each sized to fit a standard 40 HQ container:
Atlas sent one mechanical technician to assist with mechanical assembly and one electrical technician for electrical work and plant calibration. The units are interconnected by internal cabling and a junction box to the panel, making the plant quick to start. On-site operator training covered running the plant and troubleshooting.
“Atlas designed a plant that matched everything we needed: the storage capacity, the pollution control and the container loading. Their technicians helped with assembly and calibration, and trained our operators on site.”
